The Colonel is a spectacularly mediocre surfer from the SF Bay Area. Most of this blog was written between 2004-2009, during which time he and his family lived in Huntington Beach and San Clemente. He currently lives in the East Bay, works in The City, and spends a ridiculous amount of time in his car driving to Ocean Beach and Santa Cruz.
